Happy Fathers Day

Derek was in Brazil for Fathers day but Mya is a very blessed little girl to have been able to spend it with Grandpa's and Great-Grandpa's. Although she did miss her daddy.

Congrats Lydia!

Lydia graduated top of her class on Sunday. I have some videos that I can't get on here but will try again. She was one of the 6 valedictorians. They all gave a 3 min speech. Lydia's of course was the best.

Beautiful girls...

Airplane Ride

Mya and I flew to WI. You can't really see it in the picture but there was a plane outside the window and she was completely mezmorized by it. She watched it probably for 20min.

Watching a movie.

We got to WI about 11:30p.m. She was wiped out.

Random

For Mya's birthday we went to the zoo in the afternoon. It had rained in the morning so there weren't many people there.

Feeding the birds

This time she also got to feed the goats. They practically crawled through the slots when they saw the food.

Biggest grasshopper you have ever seen!

It was nice and hot and she loved playing in the water. She didn't want to go see any other animals after this she just wanted to stay and play.

Feeding the giraffe. After she fed it we were standing there watching it and it tried licking Mya. Giraffe's tongues are REALLY! long. She didn't appreciate it.

Mya decided to use her shoe for a shovel. She is rinsing it off in this picture and then put it on her sandy feet. She doesn't like the sand in her shoes but hasn't quite figured out that if you put sandy feet in your shoes your shoes will get sandy.

Trying to get the sand out.

I was so tired and wanted to take a nap so I put a movie in the laptop and put Mya in her pack and play with some raisins and crackers. She loved it and stayed out of trouble and I took a nap.

Blowing out candles

This is just of Mya blowing out the candles. I wasn't going to make everyone listen to me sing her happy birthday at 6:30a.m.

Happy 2nd Birthday MYA!!

I think even a two year old can tell when it is there birthday. Mya woke up at 6:30 and was ready to go. Since we have had two birthday celebrations we thought we wouldn't make another cake so a donut will work just fine!

Can hardly believe she was this little!

Play-doh, Softball, and The Park

Hard at work making some "creation"

Tuesday night Derek had an early softball game so Mya and I went to watch. It was delayed by almost an hour because it was pouring rain and lightning. Thankfully there was an awning over the stands. Mya wore her hat like daddy.

Mya and I went to the park today. She ran almost the whole way there and back, it was only about 90 degrees out with 80% humidity. It made for a very good nap and an early bedtime.

She didn't like all the bugs and there were lots of them...it didn't help that they were cutting the grass.

Mya loves to swing!

Look what I can do mommy:)

IT'S A...

BOY!!! Here are some pictures from the ultrasound today. It was hard to get some really good pictures because of a very active little boy.

Head and body...looking down

Face...kind of hard to tell

Hi world can't wait to meet you...when Mya saw the hand she waved back.

Visit from Grandpa and Grandma B

This weekend my (Kristen) parents came for a quick visit. We picked them up from the airport at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and dropped them back off at 5:00 a.m. Monday. Even though it was short we had lots of fun. We celebrated Mya's birthday, again, went to the beach, played a few hands of Liver Pool Rummy and had fun just hanging out. What a fun weekend!

Mya enjoying a bed time story with Grandma.

During the day Grandpa read her many stories.

Saturday night Aunt Pam, Uncle Phil, and Salina also came over to celebrate Mya's Birthday.

I think she was excited for her presents.

Aunt Jenna send down an adorable little cook outfit with a hat, apron, towel, hot pad, and an oven mitt. Thanks Aunt Jenna!

Grandma made Mya her own house. It has two windows and a door. By the end of the night all of Mya's presents and quite a few pairs of shoes were in it.

Daddy and mommy got her a sandbox/water toy.

Uncle Evan, Aunt Carrie, and cousin Lina sent down a fun Cinderella dress and some Raggedy Ann and Andy books. Thanks guys!

All ready for church.

After church we stopped and picked up subs from Subway. Then we stopped at home changed and packed a picnic lunch. We went to Apollo Beach which is about 10min from our house.

Mom and I used the fancy wine glasses from the picnic basket to drink our Coke.

This bird was sitting there for a long time and then stood up and yawned and I got a picture:)

Grandpa, Grandma, and Mya

It is kind of hard to see but on the way back to the car there was a spot we had to walk through that had tons of crabs.
